Formula 1 Embraces NFTs

In a groundbreaking move, Platinium Group, the primary ticket provider for Formula 1, is set to revolutionise the ticketing experience by introducing NFT race tickets. The launch will take place at the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix, from May 26th to May 28th, marking a significant step toward integrating blockchain technology into global sports events.

Platinium Group has teamed up with Elemint, a renowned blockchain infrastructure corporation, and Bary, a leading Web3 firm, to bring this innovative concept to life. The NFT tickets will be minted on the Polygon network, ensuring efficiency and scalability.

The introduction of NFT tickets not only grants access to the highly acclaimed Monaco Grand Prix but also offers enduring utility to ticket holders. Post-event benefits, including hospitality privileges and future race discounts, are part of the package, aimed at fostering brand loyalty among collectors.
